My CROW...
I love to paint... and wanted to really paint a fun crow.. this is him.. the king of them all... he is old and wise... and wears a crown of love... of the old knowledge's of life... he has nature in his mouth... not a cell phone... LOL.. he is wild... and I love him...
Okay... the back ground... I took a piece of tissue paper and gesso ed it onto the paper... and then used dylusional sprays... and had a blast... what fun is that ... freedom and enjoyment all in one piece of paper...
Now the CROW... he needed to have something to show his ability to learn and carry the torch for others to learn from... so he is learning about mushrooms... this is actually happening in our life now... we are going to start to grow mushrooms for sale... so it is very much part of our life... learning is too..
I have to put a crown on him... he is KING...
Rubberstamps... hope you have visited the rubber stamp area... if not, please do...
here is another stamp that I have wanted for a long time... I never could find the right one... the right size, the right ONE...
so...
I made it...
I love it... a pod for the fall.. what could be more perfect...
So I made a piece of paper for the back of the king... and it had to be royal paper...
so after the green.. I added inka gold...
Do you have any inka GOLD???
I have the gold , copper and silver... wouldn't mind having them all.. but my studio is only so big...
anyway.. you can do so very much with this stuff...
I spritz with water and paint with it... as I did here... or you can use it on a cloth to cover wood... you name it.. it will most likely cover it... great stuff... made in Germany... so you gals over across the pond can most likely get it easier than over here... in the states..
First piece with the pod stamps...
I love it..
Another paper...
Oh what fun...
Making more and more paper... and stamping more and more pods... am I addicted... I think I am way past that at this point... don't you???
But I am having fun... so what better way to live...
Okay.. I find that the easiest way to make an envelope for this kind of thing...
Color a 8x11 piece of paper... and tear it in half...
Then fold to make an envelope...
as shown here...
and cut the bottom to fold up... and glue..
because of the position and usage these envelopes will receive, I used 1/2 inch red line tape... strong stuff...
When you flip the page open... after seeing the king of CROWS..
you see this...
Flip again... and you see this back bage...
now inside the envelopes....
you have to put something... and so these are in there...
two pieces of paper folded... the same directions... and then I added these words... which are very profound and deep... I do hope you will read them... and like them..
My King of all CROWS...

I'm running out of adjectives to describe your creation, your King Crow is royal indeed and the pods well I'm in love with them, stunning colors, love it..
